About our Lawn Service in Grand Rapids

Matt Spaans, owner/operator of Spaans Landscape Management, graduated from the Michigan State University Landscape & Lawn Management Program and also holds certification from the Kent Career Technical Center (KCTC) Sustainable Agriscience Program. At the age of twelve, Matt began a small business providing lawn service in Grand Rapids, pulling a trailer with lawn equipment behind his dad’s tractor to nearby customers. That initial childhood job has grown and matured into a flourishing landscape management company, now known as Spaans Landscape Management, LLC. Matt enjoys the customer-relations aspect of owning his own business and loves being outdoors. His hard-working and honest nature has earned him many valuable customers. Matt currently serves on the Advisory Board of the KCTC Agriscience Program.
